    Yeah its sad

Ukranians leave their dead om the battlefield. Most of them forcibly conscripted civilians.

Good on Putin to at least return their remains so their wives and daughters can give them a proper burial.
This is literally the opposite of what happened. the russian empire doesn't even want the bodies back, because they have to pay out the relatives.

PSA, reminder you can block posts even from quotes. Example:

    Code:
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//strong[contains(text(), "Thread")]/ancestor::div[contains(@class, "bbcode_container")])
    End Result:

Good to get a reminder. Thread's ADHD meds seem to be not working.

    Kherson is still Russian

    Tough luck

Speaking to journalists on Friday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that “Kherson Region remains part of the Russian Federation, and this status is legally fixed and defined, and there can be no changes to this status.”
    LOL

    nope.

And you still believe US governments lies that russia will invade anyday now

    Lemming
    Aint no invasion gonna happen.
Regardless there will be no russian boots on ukranian soil. All this invasion talk is propaganda for internal US consumption.

If you check Putins speech he clearly says all this has been planned months in advance. They are just executing the plan now.
    LOL

Russian coal industry profit drops by 93% amid sanctions and loss of clients – The Moscow Times

The profit of the Russian coal industry, one of the largest raw materials industries in the economy, fell by 93%, or 15 times, over the year, The Moscow Times reported on June 27 with reference to Rosstat data.

Profitable companies ac ulated 72 billion rubles ($840.4 million) of profit in January-April 2024, while unprofitable companies recorded 58 billion rubles ($677 million) of loss. In total, the Russian coal industry made 14 billion rubles ($163.4 million) in profit. This is almost 200 billion ($2.3 billion) less than in the same period a year earlier.

    ...

India, which accounts for about a third of Russia's coal exports, reduced purchases by 22% to 6.76 million tons in March-May, NV reported earlier. Exports to Turkiye, South Korea, and Japan also fell.

China, the largest buyer of Russian raw materials, has imposed an import duty on coal that does not apply to other suppliers, such as Indonesia and Australia, which are members of the free trade zone with China.

India's largest steel company stopped buying Russian coal in May 2022.

Belarus’ involvement in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine: new EU restrictive measures target trade, services, transport and anti-cir vention

The Council today adopted restrictive measures targeting the Belarusian economy, in view of the regime’s involvement in Russia’s illegal, unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine. These comprehensive measures aim at mirroring several of the restrictive measures already in place against Russia, and thereby address the issue of cir vention stemming from the high degree of integration existing between the Russian and Belarusian economies.

    CNN —
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]At least 7 people, including children, were killed and at least 31 injured after Russia launched a missile strike on the town of Vilniansk in Ukraine’s southern Zaporizhzhia region on Saturday, according to Ukrainian officials.[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]“[Today] is a day of mourning in Zaporizhzhia region for those killed in the enemy attack on Vilniansk,” Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, said on Sunday. “There is unspeakable pain.”[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]Three children were among those killed and eight children were among the injured, Fedorov said.[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]The attack damaged critical infrastructure, as well as a retail store and residential buildings, he said Saturday. Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said trade pavilions, households and vehicles also caught fire as a result.[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]Speaking to the National Police, one local resident who witnessed the strike said: “It was a weekend, everyone was having a rest … it wasn’t even late, it wasn’t dark, a missile hit.”[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]She continued: “Children died, children were injured. So did adults. For no reason. The children had a graduation party, they were graduating from school. They were planning their future.”[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--style-type-primary-1-highest)]Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered his condolences to those who lost loved ones in the attack and appealed for more long-range weapons, saying Ukraine needs “to strike with real long-range capability and to increase the number of advanced air defense systems in Ukraine.”[/COLOR]
