President Biden will deliver remarks from the White House Monday addressing the Supreme Court's decision to grant former President Donald Trump absolute immunity from prosecution for "official acts" during his presidency.

Biden, 81, will speak from the executive mansion's red-carpeted Cross Hall at 7:45 p.m.

Earlier Monday, a Biden campaign official likened the high court's ruling to giving the 78-year-old former president "the keys to a dictatorship."

Too late. They were busy beavers trying to murder Trump,,,all the while the old man got 3 pure White people/ringers willing to swear on the Good Book and to obey his dictate, on-the-spot.

    That's pure, unadulterated wet work.

    Trump did that.

This is where the game because awfully transparent for Trump "patriots" - when you readily and freely admit that your patriotism isn't over the ideals of the American republic, but for one party and one man.

At least you're finally being honest.
You struck that template, scott when Trump President with the intention that once you tarred and feathered him, rode him out on a rail you'd return to the fore.

No, son. You tore us up & apart trying to murder President Trump. We ain't ever goin' back.

You picked on the wrong man because he was indeed the wrong man to be President. He wasn't in the loop, knew nothing about a loop. And once he discovered what he was up against had nary intention of crawling to you for mercy, nor crawl away from you and into a fetal position. "I'll fight. I got the two sons."

    " in' eh, Pa."

    Hey, scott! Let us proceed...

Overlooked in the SCOTUS granting the POTUS King-like immunity is the the inherent power grab by the court itself. There is no bright light test provided for official v. unofficial acts leaving the court to police them as it sees fit. POTUS we like doing illegal we approval of? Official act. POTUS we don't like? Unofficial act.

POTUS is now a King, and the SCOTUS is his new counsel.

Shocking turn for anyone who actually gives a for the spirit of the American experiment.

Coupled with Chevron, this term overall has just been a massive power grab by the judiciary who, ironically, is the branch with the least accessible checks and balances available.
It's not a good ruling but I don't think presidents are kings now either. Past presidents have done plenty of illegal things in the name of the office without any real fear of prosecution. That's why Trump has been so outrageously brazen.

I never thought the 1770s insurrection was a good idea either, I would have steadfastily supported the King George administration and remaining in Britain, fyi... forget Jan 6., the real insurrectionists were Washington, Jefferson, Adams et al.

I would be proud to be a citizen of a country with a populist right wing king.

Kill the Jan 6 defendants that are still in jail, forgive all student loan debt outstanding, federally subsidize all ice cream, and grant immediate citizenship and voting rights for anyone from anywhere who sets foot in the USA.

that's why we need to max out the senate this year when we have the map we do this year... like reverse of 2006... so the D's will never have a realistic chance to take back the Senate again. They can talk about adding more states but having a permanent Senate majority is one way to forever block that possibility.

Down ballot is everything... Trump and the national GOP alike need to emphasize heavily to the voters that a split ticket Trump vote is a vote against Trump and a vote for radical Leftism. That a split ticket vote is a waste of a vote, and we must vote red red red up and down the ballot, not only for Trump but also for Lake, McCormick, Rogers, Moreno, Hovde, Sheehy, Sam Brown, Cao, Domenici, et al, as well as voting red for U.S. House, state and local elections from state legislature all the way down to precinct dog catcher. Run up the score, make it insurmountable for the Dems to ever recover nationally. It's time to pounce, avenge the covid scamdemic fraud of 2020 and the roevember 2022 fluke and make 2024 the most massive red tsunami election year in history. Vote early, vote often, mail in your vote too... vote straight red ticket on all of them.
