I mean I at least like this more if we get to actually see him in the NBA in the next year or 2…but does our FO realize at some point you need people who can shoot?

Guess Nuñez might be viewed as the eventual Tre replacement.

I was going to make a joke about what notable players have played for Ratiopharm Ulm, but then I see it's Killian Hayes, Daniel Thies, and Bruno Caboclo.

So I don't need to make a joke.

That is one of the slowest crossovers I’ve seen. What’s worse is Rice-hacker got beat on it 😂

Ri-zacker only got beat cause he was looking at the screener tbh. But I agree that slow ass crossover ain't beating many defenders in the NBA. That's why he was a SRP though. Like most Spanish players, their lack of athleticism really hinders their potential.

Hopefully so because it will make the Hawk pick next year better and better.

Wait -- did this guy agree to a two-way contract?

Draft and stash seems obvious, but dude did schlep his parents across the ocean to be in the studio for the second round show. At least he's an interesting pick.

Regardless if this guy ever comes over - at least he gives us another rooting interest in the Olympics this summer.

If Topic hits in a few years, it'll be fun to see the hindsight criticisms of Brian Wright for passing on him and taking another player who's remarkably similar.

Passing on Topic at #8 will likely come back to haunt in a big way.

Whenever we play OKC, assuming they keep him, we'll be happy to see him on the floor instead of SGA.

    https://encestando.es/real-madrid-y-...-el-barcelona/

Barça and Real (who were holding Nuñez rights in Spain) have reached an agreement, and Nuñez will play for Barcelona next season.
It’s mentioned that it’s going to be a long contract with multiple NBA outs. He looks determined to play NBA ball at some point.
