Russian officials have said this year that they want to remove the Kremlin’s terrorist label from the Taliban and have invited Taliban delegations to Russia.
On Thursday in Astana, Putin explained that he wanted to normalise ties because the Taliban wanted to turn Afghanistan into a normal functioning state.
“Everything is stable, calm and goes according to certain rules,” Putin said of the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan.

I don't like Victor but what he's doing is necessary and probably not all that unwelcome by the USA. We need to get the peace process going and that starts with dialogue to at least see what is possible when it comes to negotiations, at least getting them started at some point here.
Z stated at the first that only peace could be had if Russia gave up every square inch of Ukraine they had taken back. I'm holding him to that. Anything less and I'm gonna party on this site something fearsome.

I can't see that ending if it ain't ended by now. Even Trump won't commit to ending it should he win. He'll pose as if...but when it comes to brass tacks he'll continue with it.
Oh, I'm not predicting it will end anytime soon, but if MAGA world decide they're tired of it then anything is possible including an abrupt end to it.
