Was just wondering when is this one happening.
Would be nice if there's a live stream link.

Should be better than CP3's trashcan presser with Golden State![]()
Still haven't decided on a number? Keldon gone into hiding?
Tf is taking so long for Barnes to get out there
Openly talking about waiving the trade kicker.
Barnes saying it was an easy decision to waive the trade kicker.
Legacy points added.
Will Barnes get his jersey retired for waiving the trade kicker?
We have Spurs who have done less who have their jersey retired![]()
Barnes seems like such a chill personality to have on the team. What a good get for SA
CP3 going to yelling at Jeremy a lot. I can already see it. He’s the new Deandre Jordan, Ayton for him to cuss out.
I think people are going to be pretty surprised to see how much Paul coaches Wemby. Victor's big-man fundamentals are lacking compared to more limited centers his age. It may not seem important because Wemby will "redefine what centers can do" or whatever, but fundamentals are always important. He's going to be a better player for knowing how to properly set screens and read PnRs from the roll-man's PoV. Sochan at PG had no idea what to even tell him. Jones may know doesn't have the cachet or savvy to help Victor much in that area. I don't know if Paul is going to be yelling at Wemby a ton or if he's going to be hesitant, but it seems more likely that he's going to have more opportunities to do so to his center than to a PF.
And Wemby, and Castle, and Vassell, and ...
Good on him for it in advance![]()
Finally listening to the presser. I am very impressed by Barnes's personality. Paul saying that fans might not like what he does on the court was pretty funny.
Yep. The point in a kicker is to discourage a team from trading you without outright banning it. Especially after the 2017 CBA gave players the right to waive a kicker to facilitate a trade (it was previously only removed if it pushed a player's salary over the max), players could use it to control where they were going a bit more. Like I don't know if Barnes would've waived to be salary-dumped somewhere. I also wonder if it took a bit more convincing than the presser implies. Like maybe it was "If you absolutely need me to waive it, I will, but if you can do it another way, I'm prefer to not give up $4 Million." That would explain why it took a few days to do the relatively simply cap operations. Regardless, it's a great compliment that being sent to the Spurs is still seen as a desirable outcome for a lot of players. Much of that could be the Wemby effect, but the "family roots" that run through the organization and the atmosphere they cultivate is still appealing. Hopefully that's not just the case with older players who remember the team's glory days. While Wemby should remain a draw for younger players, a small-market club like SA needs all the advantages they can get.
It’s revealing that we’re counting on Paul to hold players accountable for dogging it and for making mistakes. There’s a figure called a “head coach” that should be doing that.
My read on these acquisitions (Paul, especially) is that Pop can move back into a coaching role vs. teaching role. Paul can do more teaching and leading.
I think that should help the team, at least theoretically.
I'll believe it when I see it. Feels like Pop's been in a teaching role for five years.
"They lost by 20 but they competed their ass off. And they were also very interested in that video of penguins cuddling."
Hi team, it’s huddle cuddle time, let’s all hold hands and pray to the one true God, Timmy!
I like how Chris Paul said he'd rather play basketball than be anywhere close to his family.
let me get a malpractice bust out
