There is some serious talk about asking Joe to step down.

Problem with that though is that the GOP will fight dirty to keep the new nominee off the ballot. Any nominee will have to file paperwork to run in all 50 states, and the fascist party has blown up all democratic norms in running after power.

The party of fraudulent electors will not shrug it off.

primaries aren't democracy, especially the way the democratic party does it.

There is no Democracy, just a lust not to win, but to beat Trump for making President.

    Trump did that.

That's the thing though, rules and rules and timelines are timelines... if you wanted to replace Biden you probably should have done it earlier this year or last year.

They couldn't and still can't do that, UNT. This isn't about Biden. This is about Trump and Trump only.

    Trump did that.

Imagine the scorched earth butthurt temper tantrum Trump would throw if they replaced him. The only way the GOP could survive the MAGA exodus from that would be if the new candidate was still running against Joe Biden. So this is actually the worst thing they could do if Biden is replaced.

    He owns them, Spurm.

Trump owns the Republican party, lock, stock and barrel, save the RINO's...who are hiding and won't come out unless he loses in November.

No chance of that ever again. Not after Trump made President.

Have you seen Biden lately? Most importantly last night? My mother passed away at 81 from cognitive decline over the last 10yrs. Let me tell you, she was losing it slowly and then one day last year she dropped hard at an incredible rate. She went from not speaking well, and memory loss to in a wheelchair and not being able to speak at all in a two week period. I can see Joe Biden heading down this path. He totally reminds me of my mother. I believe 100% we need a new democratic nominee.

Shoot my grandmother literally went from walking around, to being bed ridden being spoon fed like a baby. At 81 she was about how like Biden was though probably a little worse with the eyes wandering and stuff. Probably a little worse than Biden. By 91 the time she passed away she was literally bed ridden and wheel chair bound. She was pretty much an adult infant

I voted from several candidates. the one with the most votes won.

    Seems democratic to me.

    Agreed.

I suspect he will simply stay in, then resign shortly after the election. fascists will scream about this, and be especially butthurt at having a woman, much less a woman of color, as president.

The fascist party has given up on any pretense of not being racist and misogynistic. The radicals that have taken over have always been there, but were kept in check by moderates.

I would expect any Harris administration will see them falling all over themselves to alienate women even more than they are now.

I'm so torn (on replacing Biden). I won't vote for Trump, but Kamala?? Really? Biden might be a mumbler and half-senile but he's more mentally acute and puts together more meaningful sentences than Kamala, word salad extraordinaire. Yet a vote for a 3rd party candidate in this country is "throwing it away". Yet again, circling round, if there was ever a time to vote for a third party candidate, now would be the time. Dunno guise, it's a ty situ.

...and the culprit responsible for [it's]?

Trump. Trump did this. He made President and then wouldn't be killed easy, nor dissuaded after he wasn't killed easy. One man walks in off a New York street, makes President and 8 years later we're rabid, frothing at the mouth from (it). A goodly portion scared -less that Biden will stay, OR, go.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Its very sad, but I can see this in Biden. He wont make it through the next two years cognitively at the rate he is going.

I'd take more joy if I too weren't in that queue, further back, yes, but not further enough to grant myself peace for any length of time.

Yall throw democracy around as if any of yall can define it which yall clearly can't. As well, the DNC is anything but democratic and thank God for that or we'd have seen a Bernie WH.

You lefties eat all the garbage fed to yall by your overlords.
