Lucky for Trump, the democrat dumb s and their dumb voters will keep the cryptkeeper as the nominee,,,,

That's what I've believed since the meltdown began but now, I'm not so sure. Bumping Joe and rolling with Kamala seems to be gathering steam. Not a terrible idea imo. I mean there are no dumb Joe voters who won't vote for Kamala and a vp Newsom (or whoever) so what do they have to lose.

...I'm willing to risk it just to have Biden quit in front of Trump.

I'll cross the other bridge when I get to it.

& (they've) run these chances thru thoroughly, which is why I believe they'll stick with Biden throughout. Some kind of dependable is telling them it's not assured, but is definitely winnable.

Always makes me LOL the seeing right throwing out the word 'elite' as derogatory like they're not running a billionaire elite at the top of their ticket. Same voters who want to elect a guy who hires illegals to keep illegals out of the country, 's hilarious.
In that case 'elite' means having the ability to read and write. The bar is THAT low.

As an older progressive I can tell you few real progressives exist anymore. Originally, the progressive movement was against the establishment. Now too many people who call themselves progressive parrot the establishment. Progressive use to mean to progress. Now it seems to mean divide and conquer. The message has been highjacked by classists.
LOL this comes off like DarrinS saying he voted for Obama

Eh, Germany made out like bandits. Nary 1 German child has died in the last 80 years of slaughters. Instead American children went in their place and a portion came back thru Dover. Same with Japanese children.

Hitler and Pearl Harbor paid fat dividends for both Germany and Japan.

Not really a right wing lib like Biden, I'm more a centrist Bernie guy tbh, though no way he'd get the nomination so we're stuck with a lib getting the nomination.

I find it very difficult to believe that Democrats will succeed in removing Joe Biden after what just happened.

If Trump actually gets some kind of boost from this (which is crazy but may just happen) then Democrats including donors are going to get even more aggressive calling for Biden to step down.

Biden has been using the word "anyway" an unbelievable number of times lately.

It's like he loses his train of thought every few minutes or so, and then says "anyway" to try and dismiss it as if where we was going with his point wasn't important anyway. In reality, he clearly appears to be dealing with some type of cognitive issue or issues. It's not just simply being old.

It's not crazy at all and it's very much expected. Nothing Biden can do about it one way or the other. Reagan's approval rating actually started off pretty low and then soared two months later when he got shot and almost killed. It's the nature of the beast.

Law and order is now a top 3 issue along with the border/immigration crisis and the economy, all winning issues for Trump and the GOP in 2024. Stuff where the Democrats win on like abortion and climate change are very very low on the list of voters' issues in 2024, and we don't have covid which was a big time winning issue for the Dems in 2020.

There's not much for the Democrats to do but try to save as many vulnerable in bent senators in purple states as they can. I don't think they're even winning the House in 2024 at this point, given down ballot effects of a presidential election year, but keep the margin under 20 representatives if possible and go all in to win in 2026.

If you can limit senate losses and keep the GOP majority in the House from 2025-26 narrow, you can at least have a weak enough GOP trifecta to where some of the more hardline parts of agenda 47 or project 2025 won't be passed, similar to Trump's first two years from 2017-18. You can plan on taking back the House in 2026 and potentially netting a senate seat or two in 2026 and 2028 each if possible, and you won't have to worry about Trump on the ballot ever again.

It's a cult. The "boost" he's going to get from this is from cult members.

Now, if you could tie this up to Old Joe or something, then you might have a point.
