No, there were five shots before secret service took him out. The first missed altogether (hit the box beneath the podium well away from Trump), the second hit Trump's ear, and it was either the third or fourth that killed the Italian-American man Comperatore. He was a bald man and the bullet hit him directly in the back of the skull and he died fairly instantly. A doctor nearby tried to save him but he was already gone. The other two rounds wounded several other people, including grazing someone's neck and seriously wounding two others but they're expected to survive.

Oswald was a good shooter and didn't miss, though he was definitely a SAWM (at minimum, an Edward Snowden) of sorts of his day in an era before social media and video games. Not accepted into his social circle so he decided the whole USA was evil and that he'd join the USSR, get easy pussy there (yeah, Marina's still alive) because he couldn't get any in America, and decided he'd do the ultimate terrorist act upon return to the USA.

I'm surprised one of his shots missed him given he was supposed to be a great shout out to 500 yards. I know Kennedy was a moving target but that car couldn't have been going more than 5 mph.
