if he's nailing 3's like that, it can really open up so much more of his game, because he does have a nice handle and solid iso skills along with it. i liked him as somebody worth taking #8, but i didnt want him alongside a non shooter like Castle. if we had grabbed risacher/sheppard/dillingham at 4, buzelis was one of the guys i was cool with at 8

Man, Im really liking what Ive seen from Cody Williams. I think hes got a chance to be damn solid.
Sheppard has a nice stroke, a good BBIQ, and a deceptively good vertical, but he’s going to have to improve the speed of his release to get his shot off against better defenders. I think the Mark Price comparisons are pretty spot on.

Maybe he was benefited by the attention to other UK players by opposing teams.
They were posting McCain up on Dillingham, which is a little crazy.
One thing that pops, or doesn't, about Dillingham in this setting is his lack of speed. He's quick, but not exactly fast.
He made some nifty passes, and he's both a willing passer and a tenacious defender. He's got too much Jack in him. Pop wouldn't draft that IMO.
carrinngton might be roy and end up being a better player then sarr.

I'm less concerned about Sarr's shooting. The team will work on getting his spots. It's more that he's slight and shorter than you'd want and not a supreme shotblocking threat or great rebounder. I think he'll be fine, and am glad the Wiz picked up Valunciunas, but he might pale compared to Clingan or Edey for a while.
And then I see Sarr shot 0-15. Woah.
man, Prosper has REALLY been struggling for the Mavs this summer league. not as bad as Dariq Whitehead, but yeesh, two guys i liked decently at their respective draft positions
