And that defense.
Is this another Bryn Bryn Forms n Pop affair?
Finally got a true bucket getter on the roster

Most likely Spurs to score 50 in a game
1) Wemby (duh)
2) Vassell (eventually he will hit like 8 threes in the first half and keep chucking the rest of the game)
3) Flynn (has done it before)
...
999) Wesley (can he even score 50 in an empty gym?)
It is unlikely that Malachi will make it to the main roster unless two players are traded, so the idea that he would score a single point as a Spur is unrealistic.
He would easily outplay Blake in camp.
The game after he scored 50 points
3 pts on 0-12 from the field and 0-7 from 3
He played in 69 games last year- his 50 point game accounted for 13% of his total points scored.......
Don't you mean that he 'will' outplay Wesley?
Nah, they'd rather cream themselves for a 15th - man, fringe player that won't even make our 15 - man roster.
Which is hilarious because Wesley and Branham still have a chance to become viable players, but let's throw that away for a journeyman that doesn't do anything better than either.
If this NBA thing doesn't work out the law firm of Malachi and Malaki has a nice ring to it.
Sounds like the kind of mother ers who represent tobacco companies and white collar criminals
CP3/Vassell/Castle are going to take up 3 of the 4 guard spots in the rotation. Flynn/Wesley/Branham will fight for that 4th. Realistically it comes down to whether Castle plays more PG or SG.
This is a Sandro type signing tbh. Probably gone by mid year but they will give him a chance to stick on a year to year basis.
He’s going to be gone at the end of training camp, barring a many to one trade. They have 15 guaranteed contracts already, and his isn’t.
can’t they samanic Wesley?
Hypothetically, but they probably won’t. Unless there is a problem, Spurs FRPs usually get the full four years.
i'd be fairly surprised if Wesley's 4th year option is picked up
I wouldn’t, but it doesn’t really matter in the context of this year. His 3rd year was already picked up last year.
To me, after Lonnie’s second year, I could see he wasn’t going to make it. He finished timidly, and couldn’t really pass or create. He still got his year 4 option picked up. Even if they don’t intend to extend you, SA almost always keeps players for 4 years, unless there’s some sort of problem like Primo’s exposure, or Samanic’s laziness.
Oscar Tshiebwe is a free agent now, after Indiana decided not to extend his two way contract. I think he's worth a look. His rebounding has translated in the G League and in his limited minutes in the NBA, and having those kinds of rebounding skills could come in handy, even in limited specific scenarios as a 13th man.

yeah i agree that it seems quite likely he will be back for year 3. i just dont see good reason to pick up his option for next season. unless he shows up to camp/preseason a transformed player
lonnie showed WAY more promise after 2 years than Wesley has.
