Spurs have reached the point of "get thrown into every trade rumor" because we have assets and Wemby
Spurs have reached the point of "get thrown into every trade rumor" because we have assets and Wemby
On the bright side, we know he's extension eligible
Hmm... traded to a terrible team, his usage shoots up, makes the All-Star team. Wonder where I've heard that before.
Stays at that level of production but fails to impact winning in any way, later a much better player comes along and some good roster moves and he gets to the play-offs twice, the second time when said much better player is hurt and the team gets wrecked. About to get a huge extension.
If he was so good, why is his team looking to dump him?
Amico is as reliable has Eric Zhang.
So five firsts plus sochan plus Wemby get it done?
Not all that interested. Empty calories guy. Would much rather have markennan.
Amico sucks. Hasn't been reputable in years. Regardless, don't see the Spurs making that move either.
Whenever a playoff team is trying to jettison one of their supposed stars, that should tell you something.
Bump?
idk his contract details but i say do it. he’s a different animal than demar.
he’d be a great compliment to cp3 / barnes / wemby.
spurs need to be able to rely on someone more cp3 but less than wemby. i like ingram a lot tbh. he’d get GREAT looks & opportunities with cp3 / wemby.
I like his game but he seems a bit off in the head. Kind of a bad at ude. He comes across as a headcase.
He’s never been reputable. The reputable one is Sam Amick, who has written for some mainstream outlets. People just mistake this clown for him.
bro, ingram has one year left on his contract. push the chips in now, pelicans can only demand so much.
he’s at least twice as good as prime sjax & half as … uncontrollable at worse.
Push the chips only if you’re prepared to pay him $50 million per year. Don’t think he’s worth that.
This is a dude who is going to be one of the early reality checks of the new CBA when he hits free agency.
100%. Demar's 3/74 deal he just did with SAC seems about what BI will probably be faced with next summer. Maybe up to 3/90
Yup. He's set to become vastly overpaid next year. Don't think the Spurs trade for him on that basis alone.
Sounds lIke NO has no interest in paying him, and not many takers. He may very well be settling.
the thing is... ingram should be a better off ball player and defender than he is
he's also just about to turn 27 so he could stand to improve, which is why i think he'll still land a huge contract that he will be very unlikely to live up to
With the 2 apron in effect,no one is paying for wishes and dreams any more. If he should be better and isn’t by 27,that’s not hopeful,it’s terrible, and you don’t pay for it.
the league has caught on to what demar isn't. ingram is better & younger.
agreed. someone will pay him.
