Reading around and it sounds like the only injury from today's scrimmage happened to LB Morice Blackwell.
RB Christian Clark went into his chest and he got "nicked up," but not anything serious.
Two quotes from an IT source after seeing the scrimmage today:
“I don’t think we need to worry about the defense.”
“Athleticism is oozing on the defense. I’ve seen teams like this before but not from a Texas team in a long while.”
OTF had a source tell them LB Ty'Anthony Smith is a "BEAST" and he'll play this year.
On3 spoke with LB offer Madden Faraimo of San Juan Capistrano, CA and he says he's not quite ready to make a decision.
He wants to get back on a few campuses in the fall and will commit closer to the early signing period in December.

Another negative was the punting. As excited as the source was for the defense he was that concerned about punting. He said he didn’t see a single good punt, but he did see a good punt return or two. DeAndre Moore was named there.

Although I read somewhere he comes from a very Catholic family. I think they found a church they liked on his visit to Austin.
