As of this morning, Hamilton at OTF has five-star S Jonah Williams of Galveston Ball as 65% to Texas ahead of his Saturday decision.

He says it's going to be LSU or Texas barring a major shake-up in his recruitment.

Nahlin at IT said this evening he has Williams at 70% to Texas, and if anyone figures out a way to sway him to another program by Saturday, you tip your hat to them.

OTF reporting there are two home games the staff is emphasizing this season when it comes to recruiting.

Georgia on October 19th is obviously one, where it will likely be easier to make a list of recruits not attending.

The other will be against Mississippi State on September 28th, which is an afternoon start making travel time easier for many prospects and it will be a lively weekend celebrating the SEC opener.

Kentucky on November 23rd is potentially a third being the last regular season home game that's two weeks before the early signing period, but it will depend on what Texas targets are still uncommitted.

One important note I missed myself is the early signing period being moved to the first week of December instead of being closer to Christmas.

For the 2025 class, they can sign from December 4th - 6th.

This move was made to help teams solidify most of their recruiting class before the transfer portal opens once the regular season concludes.

The winter transfer portal will open on December 9th, and it closes on January 7th.

It will be the same window for both FBS and FCS players.

Usually the games are evening games. I went for seven seasons straight to the home opener. I just miss going. Austin and some of the best tailgating
