It's pretty clear that OP was unstable. Most likely a failed sports beat writer because he was likely too socially awkward to hold down a job. So he used this site as an outlet and that went south too. I also participate in things like X-Men message boards, and the behavior is kinda common, not just here. I don't really care for posters and making everything a joke necessarily either, but the other end of the same spectrum is also silly. Gotta keep it in the middle.
