Repugnantcans, I mean Republicans, keep claiming over and over that gas was very low under Trump, which it was, it was below $2, but for the five hundred millionth time, this was due to the shutdown, as "NOBODY" was buying gas due to said shutdown.
Inflation was also due to the pandemic, which again was WORLDWIDE. But I'll play along for a split second: I'd rather pay $2.85 for gas than $2.00 for gas, if paying $2.00 for gas means being under the rule of a Republican ran theocratic dictatorship, which is 100% what the modern Republican party wants. Same goes for anything supposedly priced higher because of Democrats.
