We have a time for the commitment of five-star WR Jaime Ffrench next Friday.

Are we still after Myron Charles?
You know,” recruit through the whistle” and all that rot…
Yes, IT mentioned him this evening.
I don't like NIL. Midmajor teams having success is part of what makes college football fun, and now it's even harder for those teams.
It is.
But from the players point of view someone like Moore will have to go up against better OTs all year long. Which might be better for him in the draft. And he clearly wants the NFL. So it makes sense. But agreed. It’s sux for UTSA that gave him the chance and coaching allowing him to reach the point of getting offered to leave.
College football has always been unfair. But now it’s even more so. There is little to no attempt at parity. In the NFL they have a draft and spending limits. Club Soccer has been unfair for a very long time and it’s doing very well financially on the whole.
Burton at OTF saying there will be a "significant" NIL announcement tomorrow for Texas.
Even with a commitment from WR Jaime Ffrench on Friday, OTF expects the staff to stay on two or three WRs currently committed to other schools.
After committing to Texas yesterday, S Jonah Williams told the media right away he's after WRs Jaime Ffrench and Dakorien Moore.
Quotes from S Jonah Williams of Galveston Ball after committing to Texas (247):
"Texas just felt like home," Williams told Horns247, adding he didn't tell any of the coaches before he announced. "I mean, the life after football part you really just can't mess up an opportunity like that when you're a kid from Texas and you already started your legacy in Texas. It's just a dream come true."
"Just the pros and the cons of every school in my top five schools, and I just felt like there were more pros than any type of cons in Austin, Texas, so that's why I chose Texas."
"Everyone always slept on Texas, but I just really didn't get to go out there for an official visit, that's why everybody slept on Texas but it was just that last visit (in July)," he said. "It was like a mini, brief official visit and I felt like Texas had everything I needed, so I chose Texas."
"He (Coach Schloss) played a big role because my decision was 50/50 with baseball and football, so Coach Schloss did play a pretty big role coming from A&M, it just made it even more of a dream," Williams said.
"Coach Gideon, that's my dog," he said. "That's my dog. Me and him are close and he started halfway through his freshman year and that's what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm trying to get on the field as early as possible and no better person to develop me than someone who's been through it."
"I know most of the safeties group, [Michael] Taaffe, Jelani [McDonald], D-Williams [Derek Williams Jr.], I know all of them," he said.
"I know KJ Lacey, I know Lance [Jackson], I know Kaliq [Lockett], I know all of them," he said.
"I definitely am in recruiter mode now that I'm official Team Texas," Williams said. "(I'm going after) Jaime Ffrench and Dakorien Moore."
"I'm pretty sure I'm shutting things down," Williams said.

IT says the staff is working on a defensive prospect committed elsewhere...
"IT has heard Texas has picked up the pace and is making up for lost time on a very talented prospect we have not discussed much. Since the player is committed to a school we don’t want to share his name but our source on the ground in his area says the prospect has been in contact with coaches as recent as Saturday."
Riley Pettijohn? Maybe?
Although I hope it's Dijon Lee. That is one I figured Sark would take on personally and go all out for him. Freak CB who would complement Jonah perfectly.
This particular guy is not a five-star and hasn't been on the radar.
Sorry, I left that out by mistake.
Nahlin from IT on DT recruiting...
He's been confident on Myron Charles from Port Charlotte, FL, and seemed even more confident after FSU's loss yesterday.
"I feel very strongly Texas will flip at least one more defensive tackle, but two might be more accurate."
