In before Multi Troll’s poverty meltdown…

We have poverty owners who need/want the fees Bally Sports pays.
In before Multi Troll’s poverty meltdown…
Ugh. I ing hate Ballys, their app is absolute trash
I’ll need to get a better pair of glasses.
Dang, the Bally streaming service sucks so much. I was so happy when I was able to delete it!
, the games going to Prime is dead.
If the replays continue to have no commercials I can handle one more season.
Probably deferred a year. Sounds like this might be the death throes of Diamond broadcasting. They’re talking chapter 11, which is dissolution, not chapter 7 which is reorganization.
Wish the Spurs could still stop felching ass and do what other teams are doing, like streaming deals or back to basics antenna broadcasts. , even here in Utah, the Jazz have their own local channel that I can get with bunny ears. It's amazing the Spurms are more poverty than teams like the Jazz.
Games would end up on KBVO up here which half the city can't get without a VLA on top of your house. Remember Bally still exists because Amazon is propping it up. Is any other team going to be on Amazon channels this season?
You have this backwards. Chapter 11 is reorg.
Pretty sure you have that backwards
You are correct, gentlemen.
Diamond Sinclair is going down
These busters are going through bankruptcy and bickering with my provider so they pulled all their FSN channels and I've missed an entire summer of MLB content on blacked out channels
I hope they ing die
The 13 NBA teams are the Detroit Pistons, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Atlanta Hawks, the Charlotte Hornets, the Oklahoma Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs, the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic.
Mostly smaller market teams, apparently none of which ever stopped to ask "what would be best for our fans?"
Meh, Bally's ended up working fine on at least two platforms for me. I wouldn't trust an in-house streaming solution to be any better. OTA might end up being more expensive if one wants to time shift his viewing.
From my experience the NBA streaming games was worse. With Bally, you could actually start watching from the beginning if you were starting late and fast forward through halftime, for example. Not perfect but I'd dealt with worse.
This is why I reluctantly give them my money every year. Its an acceptable service.
Last year, it was $9.99 a month. For a 6 month regular season, it’s 13-14 games per month, not all of which will be on Bally, but it still works out pretty cheap on a per game basis.
Question for out of market people, is League Pass still the best way to go? Or is there a better route?
Last year was the first year I came back to LP bc of Wemby, and, while i generally thought it was good, I would get annoyed that I still had to buy the ty NBA TV product to watch the random Spurs games on that platform. I expect this year i'll also have to get Pea and HBOMax for the same reason.
As long as they get rid of the annoying ASMR montage during commercial breaks I'll be fine.
Spectrum had virtually all NBA reg season games for 100 bucks last season.
Got it to see Wemby.
Apparently Amazon also bailed on doing anything with Bally's. I guess after they won the NBA deal they didn't need it. I'm curious what Ballys does without that Amazon money?
They probably go under faster, leading to Amazon picking up those teams rights.
Blackouts ought to be illegal. You pay for a service and then get blocked
