Same thing happened with Chris Paul and Westbrook. OKC has built the biggest war chest in the league with this strategy.
someone's off his meds again.
Same thing happened with Chris Paul and Westbrook. OKC has built the biggest war chest in the league with this strategy.
And in only 90 threads…
What do you mean the same thing happened? Didn't OKC get assets for Westbrook? Chicago can't get anything for Lavine. How is that the same thing?
Looks like Barlow is headed to Atlanta.
Barlow: Stealth tank commander.

He's going to injure Trae in practice, Hawks finish the season with 20 wins.
On a more serious note, hopefully he makes it, but I just don't see it.
Undersized non-shooter. Only works if you're a freak athlete, which he's not.
Sounds like Ingram skipped mini camp down in New Orleans. I think he is one of many borderline stars who gets a rude awakening come free agency. I like his game tbh if he was nearer a Dejounte Murray or Devin Vassell type deal but max is just ludicrous.
^ if you are going to play abroad Dubai is a nice option!!!
What, is Dubai like a Grade Z tier franchise?
They're joining Euroleague.
And will obviously pay their players way more than other teams.
Bertans might be the ultimate bag getter, tbh.
Bertans already made his bag. 250k to play basketball in paradise. He is dropping hot carls on all of us right now in life.
Sorry. I don’t consider the Arabian peninsula to be paradise. There’s a thing about supercars being abandoned there. It’s very bad if you miss a payment, because you are subject to theft charges, and living under Sharia law. Dudes just drive them out into the desert, dump them and flee the country.
Jamal Murray got his 208/4 max.
Nuggets had no choice, lose-lose situation.
Kind of sad that Jokic never had an all-star teammate and casuals will take winning "only" one ring against him 10 to 20 years down the road.
They did win it all that year, but I'll never change my opinion that they should've packaged Jamal and MPJ for KD in 2022.
Jamal Murray is in that Devon Booker camp for me: just enough to look impressive from time to time, but in the end surprisingly underwhelming. Not LMA empty calories level, but def some overinflated stats.
I'd say that Booker is clearly a level above.
28/5/5 on 49/35/95 in 53 playoff games.
Murray has 20/4/5 on 40/31/92 in 63 playoff games.
9% lower FG and 8ppg less. That's a huge difference and I don't really rate Booker, but he's a legit all-star, unlike Murray.
Aldridge was a clearly better player than Murray. You can simply look at their stats, and see LMA comes out on top -- even without adjusting for era. That's true whether you take both of their careers or limit Aldridge to just his first seven seasons. STers are way too deep into the weeds with their memes.
These are not Murray’s stats. He’s one of the few players who raise their game and numbers across the board for the playoffs.
My bad, read the wrong row.
Anyhow, he's going to turn 28 this season with bubble and le run being his only consistent playoff appearances.
When you don't follow a team closely, you just see the highs, but most people ignore the lows.
Yes, he can win games by himself, but someone who goes missing so often and is injury prone isn't worth 50 million a year.
He's in that Klay category for me. Everyone instantly thinks of his best games and forgets about all the disappearing acts while franchise player is trying to carry.
Just my opinion, but I don't rate inconsistent players enough to think they're worthy of max deals.
agree.
no. Wrong data
