I don't care about Nate Silver's employment status enough to keep tabs on that sort of thing, but sorry for any confusion. Be sure to tell your (doubtless many) friends how some guy on the internet didn't even know Nate Silver was let go from 538, that's an anecdote that's sure to kill at parties.

And seeing as your scoffing of 538 no doubt stems from Silver's time running it, I don't find it to be a very relevant rebuttal to your convenient cherry-picking of polls and takes that validate your hero.
