from a policy perspective obviously "concept of a plan" was the weakest moment but i think people who give any s about policies or follow politics to any degree already know more or less where kamala/trump stand on major issues, at least relative to one another
people who actually get swayed by debates are probably people who dont follow politics regularly/obsessively and want to see vibes of who is more presidential, etc. crazy guy yelling about how they're eating our dogs cant possibly come off well
i didnt watch the debate live. read the transcript this morning and saw some of those key segments. no world where trump pulled many undecided voters with that performance.
kamala dropping a nugget on his rallies right before talking about immigration (ostensibly an area that he will poll better in) was brilliant. distracted him and had him wanting to defend the rallies instead of trying to hammer more on immigration there. and then she smartly brought up later how he responds to other questions with immigration as a distraction.
He fell for the bait and immediately showed millions of normies how chronically online and re ed he and his followers are. lol
