alleged would-be shooter appears to have had COVID on the brain at some point, and is bonkers about Ukraine. Trump's daily COVID briefings on TV probably agitated him, but Trump's pro-Russia bias might have sent him over the edge.
Trump was big mad at COVID for wrecking his beautiful presidency. Trump had daily televised briefings to harangue the nation on TV about COVID starting in April of 2020, I think.

for magats who are not "technically" mentally ill - the propaganda is like putting oil in an old engine that has been in a garage for decades....it immediately gets them going, gets the hatred in their closet running rampant again and they feel a permission to allow those fears, insecurities and racial animosity they were taught as kids to spew out into the public...they are exactly what drives $$$ profits at Fox propaganda channel and they are the sole reason why a rapist convicted felon has a 50-50 chance to become felon in chief....
for SANE people ...it alerts their senses and brain that there is some bull in the air and it has to be carefully inspected to weed out the bull , lies, and agendas of those happily spreading it and promoting it.
