IT reporting Coaches Baker and Joseph are at the Fort Bend Marshall vs. Richmond Randle game this evening.
Baker is there to watch DT Chace Sims, and Joseph is checking on CB commitment Caleb Chester and '26 S target Isaiah Williams.
As far as Sims is concerned, it sounds like Texas is preparing a push to flip him from A&M when he visits campus next weekend.

Looks like we might be in the portal again for a CB with experience.
I wish Kobe Black, Roberson, Wardell Mack, Santana Wilson would just show out like Money Muhammed did. Man what a great pick up at corner as a 4 star...
Can Filsame play corner?
I would just like to see another young corner step up and not miss a beat like Muhammed.
texas is evaluating this cb.........

As they should be being a local guy.
Also, I'm always intrigued if a defender has a Utah offer.

An On3 Oregon mod said today they aren't expecting ATH Michael Terry III to make it back to Eugene for another visit before making a decision.
The only game day trip he has planned currently is seeing Texas play Georgia in October, and they believe he'll end up a Horn.

IT had a post today on potential flips as the season unfolds.
They put the number around five at the moment, and said the level of surprise ranges from "ho-hum to holy !"
This doesn't include the guys like Charles and Sharma who've already made the switch.
Not all of the names they're hearing have taken official visits to Texas, so that speaks to how delicate/secretive the process can be when trying to flip a blue-chip recruit.
They mentioned a victory against Georgia (that may be the most impressive visitors list for a Texas game we've ever seen) being a catalyst to really set things off, but said continuing to win and staying on the current trajectory as a program is the most important factor.
They added that one of these recruits could be on campus this weekend.
Did you see the report that he might end up in Lubbock?
Sarcasm? Link?
I haven't seen it. Was hoping you had
