Oklahoma crushed Mizzou in the Big XII game, and then lost to Florida in the national le.

we beat them, and head to head in most worlds is tie breaker. Tech wasn’t ranked nearly as high as we were. Their schedule was not as difficult.
The way I remember it was the coaches poll was part of BCS ranking. It should have never got to that point.
The coaches poll was definitely a significant factor in the BCS formula.
