".... Todd Dodge who played quarterback for Texas and coach Fred Akers, completing only 6-of-24 passes for 74 yards with one touchdown and one interception, said the conditions were miserable.
"It's pouring rain, and at one point, I get hit by the OU sideline and slide all the way under the OU bench," Dodge told Horns247. "I look up and Barry Switzer is standing over me in a "Beat Texas" hat, smoking a cigarette. He says, 'How ya doin TD?' I said, 'I've been better, Coach.'"...
Awesome.
My namesake.
Mother loves her Horns.
Oh yeah I remember the 2008 season..
OTF commented on Wynn today and didn't even mention Clemson as a school of interest.
Only Joseph Mbatchou is ahead of him on the list of most likely to join Texas' class for DTs.

My soul left my body that infamous November night in Lubbock.
OTF reporting the staff is working to get CB Dorian Brew (Conroe High) and CB Devin Sanchez (Galena Park North Shore) on campus for the Georgia game.
On Brew specifically, they think staying closer to home is becoming more of a talking point than it was during the summer.

247 is feeling good on Wynn right now, and expects him to follow through with his plans to visit Austin next weekend.
Per 247, Coach Baker didn't end up seeing DT Walther Mathis, Jr. of Savannah, GA on his recruiting trip last week.

Wasnt that the year OU went to playoffs and we got left out due to coaches poll ? What a crock of crap…the freakin coaches poll.
luckily zero u got their asses stomped in the playoff game.
There was a three-way tie atop the South standings in the Big XII (OU, Texas and Tech) after all the teams beat one another, but Oklahoma got to go to the conference game because the fifth tie-breaker was highest BCS ranking at the time.
Oklahoma crushed Mizzou in the Big XII game, and then lost to Florida in the national le.
Vincent told OTF he'll be back in Austin for the Georgia game.
did your mom go to UT?
we beat them, and head to head in most worlds is tie breaker. Tech wasn’t ranked nearly as high as we were. Their schedule was not as difficult.
The way I remember it was the coaches poll was part of BCS ranking. It should have never got to that point.
The coaches poll was definitely a significant factor in the BCS formula.
