It really does feel like the beginning of last year. At some point, the switch will click for him. I'm a little disappointed that he's not showing a bunch of progress in that area straight out the gate. But I'm not freaking out because it's not even start of the season yet. You'd like to see him having one or two moves he built up to be reliable rather than his box-of-chocolates approach to scoring where he'll do a different move each time to varying effect.

Castle should definitely be on the "role-player to star" path rather than the "spend a bunch of time in Austin as the main option to learn how to be a PG" path. He should definitely be starting basically playing the role Sochan is supposed to be play. He can learn how to be a top-option play-maker when his production warrants it. Right now, getting experience in an NBA offense and getting that shot down should be his main developmental goals.
