This kids defense is a game changer; he loves to dominate his opponent. Good times ahead….

Fam, we have a Castle church (castle) thread.

That said, who gives a ? A rookie that isn't Vic finally looks talented immediately. Make 3 more threads for him.

He plays savvy as . He is going to have quiet 25-point games. Thank ing god.

Edit: And when was the last time this team had a mofo who goes to the FT line? Good pick, PATFO.

Start this kid. Castle can play the 3, despite what pundits on this forum says. Either Sochan/Barnes go to the bench. Give Castle a chance to win ROTY against Sheppard.

I have no problem with Castle coming off the bench, but he better be getting around 25 minutes constantly. If Pop keeps his minutes in the teens, I'm gonna lose my .

    Except for Wemby,

Castle has got to be the best Spurs rookie in a long, long time

    i watched the game again

Castle was with the second stringers when they obtained the lead

He was with the fun third stringers when they sustained the lead

Castle has the win gene within him............

Did Steph do more than the box score says he did tonight? It kinda feels like his impact was a little bigger than it looks on the sheet. Wish he had notched a couple of those 3s though.

Yes. Active in tons of plays and was very smart offensively at the end of the game.

More room to grow but what stood out to me, other than his ability to still consistently get into the paint, is that Pop put him on Jaquez who was giving us trouble. He has the strength to bang with that type of player.

The kid will have a great career. Hopefully it's with the Spurs. He has intangibles both defensively and offensively that a 3-5yr 2-way player would have. He'll only develop from here.
