People forget Kawhi Leonard was completely expunged from both Ginobili's and Parker's HOF videos... IT was a deliberate act by the organization. HE's not coming back.

I've seen Pop and the front office do some things the last few years that don't make a lot of sense, but trading for the broken s of Leonard is beyond the stupidity of even this franchise. Leonard's championship window has passed him by. He should just retire and start his own chain of car washes or invest in Klawburger or something.

If we're talking outrageous trades, Giannis once again repeated how he's not sure about his future if they have another disappointing year this season.
If he actually requests a trade, Spurs and OKC would be the most logical destinations and the only teams that would be able to pay the asking price.

It would eventually come down to the Clips giving up assets just to trade Kawhi and his enormous contract.

I actually was another one that wouldn't have minded him coming back as a free agent or something at a reasonable contract to mend fences like Scott said, but that was a year or two ago when he still looked like he may be able to come back at a decent level, and also before signing his current contract. No way I'd ever trade for him, though, (unless he was 100% healthy) which doesn't ever look likely. I would NEVER include Stephon in a trade package for him at his current contact. That's some serious smoking something you shouldn't be smoking .

Edit : I much prefer Lebowen's idea that if Giannis wanted out, I'd 99.9% rather try and trade for him instead.

They have none. They’re still paying on the Paul George deal, and he’s already left. LOL

I can get behind this one, though the bonus is a bit much.

    Oh naw.

I can see why Pina ended the article with this as the boldest prediction of them all, but there is no way the Spurs would take on three years of Number Two's contract when he can maybe give you 30 games a season at this point and the rest of the roster isn't ready to contend yet anyway. Let alone give up on Castle already.
Hey it would be just like the last time he was here. He’d get paid big bucks to never play bc of an injury.

I wonder if Ballmer would waive-and-stretch Number Two next summer if he doesn't play at all this year. That would reduce his cap hit to 20M over the following 5 years rather than 50M for the following two, giving them a path to improve the team because their draft pick cupboard is so bare. Ballmer has been impetuous and stupid in the past so there is precedent.
