Nah I dint draft a 6’6 guard to play the SF position
I agree. I don’t see castle as a strict PG, I hope he develops into a ball handling SF ala Pippen, artest, Lebron, Paul George type. Not in terms of skill set but in terms of being a facilitator on offence while being a SF.

Do people assign positions according to body size? Definitions get confusing because of how different people approach the question,
To me, it's clear Castle is not a wing. He's a guard. He's very rarely going to be put into the corners and he's not going to post up much, which are classic small forward/wing traits. He's also going to be defending starting at the top of the key against ball-handlers.
Like, if the Spurs got Traore and play Castle-Traore-Vassell, I'd see Vassell as more of the wing in those sets.
He is definitely a guard who can play some 3 if required. This year it just might require that, especially to get him minutes. Long term he is a versatile combo guard I suspect.
Castle will post up ( it’s a strength of his ) in the future.
Nice game tonight, his bbiq and intangibles are impressive! I’m really digging his vision/ playmaking
Castle making Sheppard look like a 2nd round pick in comparison![]()

After all the Bryn Fores bull , I am glad that Pop is playing Castle over Wesley in the clutch min.
If he can take Tre Jones' minutes after Tre is back healthy, Castle can get 1st team all rookie.
ROY is still a stretch. Probably go to Sarr or Edey
Personally, I didn't miss Tre Jones one iota. No hate on him, but we staaaaacked now (at his position). If he didn't need to play another non-blowout minute, I'd be perfectly okay with it.
CP3 has a long injury history, so this could be in play.
He can be the backup to Castle, after CP3 retires or traded to other teams
True. I'm wishcasting CP3 staying healthy and not being rested, but the concept remains. Besides, if he's a backup PG getting limited minutes (in the rotation, granted), that's where he should shine anyway.
Pop running this kid through the clutch.
26 minutes including crunch time. The scoring productivity will come but he looks comfortable out there and is already our best defending guard
Looking fantastic, but there were times where you could see how a 3pt shot would really take his game to another level. Like, the difference between a nice player and a potential star. Hopefully that is in the works!
Loving that he's earned the trust for big clutch time minutes in his second game. Hopefully Pop doesn't backslide on this.
Context….2nd game in the best league on the planet & playing crunch time minuteswait til he starts posting up these little guards and terrorizing teams in the pic and roll! The kids a killer, ask Jordan Brand. I picked up his home and away jersey this week.
Look like his wrist is okay
I really like his game, I’m glad we got him
I am developing an irrational love for Castle.
Just now getting to watch. Bro is what we wanted Cousin Josh to be.
He just needs to put together a respectable jumper over the next couple years and he'll be an all-star.
This kept telling teams he can play point guard, he just wasn't asked to. That's funny. Everybody will tell you they've got some ability that just haven't been asked to show, but this guy wasn't lying![]()

My second-favorite player already.
it's unreal how good this kid is already. Best player in the draft by far.
His ability to run around the screen is uncanny and probably the most important defensive characteristic for a pg.
