    Game day es.

I believe Rockettes are at full strength with the exception of Steven Adams. No Tre or DV for us. Houston is favoured -1.5 on the spread at the time of writing from what I can see on my gambling accts. Near even money on the ML. I’m doubling down on every Spurs money line till I make the rack back that I lost in the home opener let’s gooooooo.

Seriously though Houston has some very solid young talent. Hopefully a statement game for Wemby after looking like hot trash Thursday.

Yep. Houston has amassed some nice talent now. Even if they didn't get number overall 1 or 2 picks, it's looking like the guys they've picked are some really good players. Hopefully the Spurs can bounce back and take them out.

What I admire about Houston is they take chances on guys with supposed character flaws.

Jabari Smith and Tari Eason would pair well with Wemby.

I've watched parts of both their games. They haven't looked great, blew a massive lead against a wobbly Charlotte team and was just okay against a depleted and fairly bad Grizzlies team.

They have mismatched pieces and some of them are pretty expensive. Offense is generated by chucking from Fred Van Vleet and Jalen Green or by slower post attacks through Sengun. Sengun is very clearly their best player. The rest, to me, are playing below their draft positions or reputation.

Jabari Smith, Jr. does not look like a #3 pick. Imagine, Banchero and Holmgren were taken just before.

Amen Thompson has skills but little offensive threat, so comes off the bench. Can he develop anything?

Jalen Green is an undisciplined chucker who will look great for a game or two but isn't a long-term anything.

Teams are jamming Whitmore and he needs to adjust. Same problems as in college: tunnel vision, can't pass to save his life, makes him easier to guard. Him and Sheppard may only be off-ball threats. But only Sengun has the gravity to activate anybody else, or else the transition game.

They'll be good - Udoka has them playing good defense. But feels like they need to fix the roster somehow.

this is the real first test for this team. They better be winning both games against Houston or we're in for another longass season

How was the Western Conference champions not a test? Houston won .500 games last year. Why would you expect the Spurs to win both games?

cause Dallas has the best roster in the west, that was a scheduled loss. If the Spurs made a leap, they should be able to beat Houston. Unless your seat sniffing ass now thinks we're a lottery team again.

not surprising that Mrs. Body doesnt understand a relatively obvious point

Spurs have no business beating Dallas, especially without Vassell. Houston on the other hand is a much more beatable opponent so if Spurs get worked by a much worse team than Dallas, it's a bad sign. not hard to grasp

Meanwhile our front office brags about going after high character scrubs like Primo and Forbes and both guys end up in legal issues. buh he’s not Spurs material.

He has so much to criticize about every other roster but thinks our team is filled with versatile players in a strong defensive scheme.
