Wemby isn't a good iso player against a lot of players. Folks should accept this rather than trying to force it. It's not a matter spacing, teammates or coaching. Wemby can't post up and can't beat most players off the dribble. He should be playing in a catch-and-shoot role way more. It's a mental switch he needs to have, and Pop needs to help him get that. He should be well out of that "spam call for pass" phase.

He needs to play as a cutter, or coming off screens and making a move... Too tall to dribble against guards 1 on 1 unless he has space to get a running start

The lack of spacing makes us look so much better with Branham on the court. I don't think Malaki is great (not at replacement level in his first two years), but shooting and a bit of scoring juice is really needed, especially without Devin.

Not a shock (I mean, lots of people here wanted Dilly for the same reason) but it can be a bit shocking how adding a bad version of a needed element can be useful.
