On the road against a 3-0 Thunder. Could get ugly. This team goes through stretches where shots fall but ultimately are much too inconsistent offensively to take this one, imo. If only Wemby could realize that he should be playing in-out vs out-in. We need him to be efficient.

If Wemby plays, I predict a REALLY embarrassing game because Chet has absolutely gotten better and OKC actually has a coach that has an offensive system that highlights everyone's strengths... Pop is playing pick up basketball with Wemby and still hasn't built a system for him... Wemby had clearly regressed and his confidence doesn't look the same as a result because I think he expected things to be different this year... But he is still surrounded by non-shooters and still has a coach that doesn't know how to utilize him, so has him consistently getting the ball at the top of the key while being guarded by Dillon Brooks

with that said chet is one of the few guys in the league wemby is able to dislodge on the way to the rim. last year OKC didnt usually guard him with chet, instead were throwing j-dub and dort at him. and then when wemby would find chet on him, he would go hunting.

Wemby takes going against Chet serious so I am expecting a very dominating game from him. But Atlanta looses again so just keep it close and take the L, hopefully give us two lottery picks. Go Spurs.
I can't root for losses with this team this year. They're not bad enough to get a bottom 5 record unless Victor gets hurt and this draft seems to drop off hard in talent after 5. So I'd rather see wins and see them have something to build off with this season.

They also need playoff experience for us to what they’re made of. Constantly getting 60+ losses and trying to tank does nothing for their development. It promotes having a losing mentality. Keldon has been here the longest and still hasn’t sniffed any playoff experience. Granted, im not sure the spurs make the playoffs but I hope they’re not having that “oh we’re tanking for 2025. We’re trying to be the new Durant, Westbrook, and Harden.” mentality.
