did this benefit the champion in some way that the non champions did not benefit?
Sure as helped the one team that routinely choked when the lights were bright tbh.

Dodgers were down 1-3 to inexperienced Braves team in the NLCS. Down midway thru Game7 too

I loved those Back2Back NLCS battles

The 99 playoffs were at least played normally. The 2020 MLB and NBA playoffs were played without fans at neutral sites.
Splice and dice however you want but every team had the same chance tbh.

That "Mickey Mouse Ring" still means way more than a bunch of ing cheaters listening to some fat bang a trash can in the clubhouse

I can’t believe idiots actually believe the trash can story. That was a cover. What the Astros were ACTUALLY doing has never been told. Either way, it.

That was won in a full season where the Dodgers set up cameras THEMSELVES in Minute Maid Park with their employee wearing an MLB uniform and got busted. The game is the game.

I recognize trash can & mickey

Baseball is so difficult. Astros & Dodgers are the 2 most successful franchises over the past 8 seasons. They deserve it.

It's true. NBA the best team plays their best ball til the end. MLB is grueling and your best players are usually not the difference makers, it's a team effort.

I don’t think you are understanding what I’m saying. The true extent of it was more than just trash cans. Stealing signs was ALWAYS a part of the game and wasn’t what the MLB had issues with. (80’s White Sox were stealing signs by camera and relating it through the scoreboard) It was cameras. But anyway like I said. Only losers whine about that . That’s why MFs on the Red Sox STFU about it because they were doing similar . Yankees AND Dodgers too.

Exactly. It’s also a smaller sample size in the playoffs. A lot smaller.

The Yankees are now in the category of teams that make excuses for losing.

    So which one is it?

Or, is your argument that what the Asstros did was far WORSE than spying on signals with video equipment/banging on trash cans? Because yeah, I agree. Altuve was definitely wearing a buzzing buttplug.

you're the one calling the Yankees losing to a clearly superior team the biggest chokejob ever, completely forgetting that the astros actually own arguably the two biggest WS chokejobs of all time
