I agree with WH here. If there's a silent voice out there it will be for Harris. Trump has done nothing but pander to his base. Anyone with a partially functioning brain can see he's not only more unhinged than ever, he's in serious mental decline

Trump doesn't need to be in the White House to get friendly state legislatures to delay certification past Dec. 11. If he can do that, Trump can (in principle) get the ostensible certified electoral majority and the Supreme Court to rule about any eventual dispute over it.

I would not automatically assume that the Supreme Court will side with him. Even though they are Trump friendly they did not even entertain any of his election lawsuits. They were dead at the door.

I think it may depend on how close the election is. If Trump loses and it's not close, SCOTUS might be more reluctant to put their thumb on the scale. If it comes down to one or two states where it's really close, I'm not sure the most partisan Supreme Court we've ever seen will be able to resist helping Trump/Vance, supposing that state legislatures play along.

I'd almost guess the dynamic has reversed, that's there's a sizable undercount of shy Trump deserters.

Feels like hopium. 2016 was within the margin of error and was just more about political commentators being ignorant to math (specifically independence in probability), but the polls seemed to grossly underestimate the nazi in 2020 and I'm worried they're doing the same this time too. Even if they're not he still wins unless they're significantly underestimating Harris.
