Vic was sick with a respiratory thing last week, right?
Yeah, I read he had a respiratory issue as someone said he was coughing a bit during one of the post game or pregame interviews.

Hopefully nothing serious and he gets back 100% soon.
Health may be a factor in whether this is his farewell tour or not.

Early game vs. the Wolves, the broadcast said Pop was feeling under the weather.

I'm really feeling some kind of bad flu or virus that is hitting him hard due to his age. They're just letting him rest up and don't know precisely when he'll come back.

There's a lot of travel in the NBA, I know I wouldn't want to do that at 90

    Get well soon, Pop.

As a silver lining, we'll see what another coach makes of our roster.

He says "this has happened before" so I doubt its too serious but his tone is also kinda depressed and sad sounding. Hope he is OK. If he is just sick why make the fan base speculate about a health problem and not just say he has the flu?

Nice to hear it isn't too serious. I hope he will get well soon.

It's interesting that Mitch Johnson got the interim coach and not the much more experienced Brett Brown.

Must be from that soy based diet he's on, that can't be good. Somebody get the old man on a testosterone cycle, so he can quit crying about Trump and get back to tanking the sperms asap.

At 80 there's no telling what it could possibly be. I truly do love Pop. There's a breakfast taco joint here in DC that has his picture up because he's so beloved by people from back home. But I also want people of retirment age to step aside and give younger generations a chance and in that regard Pop is no different. There's more to life than working until your 80. ENJOY IT! A dream job is still a job.

It wasn’t phrased quite like that. TOSB, senile. Edgelords backing away from the edge, now that something actually happened.

I was thinking the same when he coached against Minny. You'd think with his experience, Brett would be next man up.

Sucks to be Pop in this thread. He's actually 75 years old... But then he's 80... Then he's 90! Will he hit the century?!?

If true, I’m glad Pop is okay.
My dad is the same age as him and I just don’t want to think that something serious has happened to him.

    That's an interesting question-
Could be there just getting him some experience and or notoriety
Or maybe they're thinking long term- Brett is not exactly young
