Spurs Injuries: Tre Jones, ankle (OUT), Jeremy Sochan, thumb (OUT), Malaki Branham, ankle (day to day)

    Kings Injuries: None

Demar Derozan coming to town with his new team. I hope they send a memo to our guys not to jump on those fakes. Still I expect 1-2 times some of our players will do. Will castle stay in the starting line-up to defend? Will Devin now get the start? Sabonis is a very smart player like his dad. I’ll take our chances. Spurs by 5 points! GSG!!

They played last night in a tight OT win against Phoenix. Hopefully we can jump on them like we did Minnesota.

If Devin starts who goes to the bench? Champ? Barnes? Castle? My choice would be Champagnie.

    Spurs by 8!

Probably Castle. He was the stopgap when Sochan went down. We need spacing, and Champ/Dev >> Castle/Dev.

Spacing would obviously be way better, but who's guarding for in that lineup? You want to put Champagnie on him?
I think coaching staff sees Jeremy and Castle as point of attack defenders, one will always start.

It won't happen, but it would be nice to see how Castle/Devin/Champ/Barnes/Wemby lineup does.

Hope Devin starts. Not sure who sits. Probably Castle will come off the bench, but I'd like to see him start at the point. He will sooner or later.

Kings are on a b2b so should be close in theory.

But honestly this team is dumb AF outside of CP3 and I expect them to get crushed

Kings like close games because they do not defend but their closers will eventually overcome the Spurs!

If Wemby gets the better of Sabonis or whomever plays center and we play some solid defense, then we have a chance, otherwise the kings will just shoot 3 pointers all night long and probably win the game. We're not at their level yet.

Isn't the Kings' W/L record 6-4 after the win against the Suns last night?

Seems like Saboner always kills us. Would like to see that stop.

Wemby has to play like a top 15 player for us to have any chance in these games, plain and simple tbh.

I was looking up the stats while you posted this...its even worse than I thought he must circle our games on his calendar every season

Man, I remember it used to be Zach Randolph who would just us every time we played them. Torch has been passed to Saboner.

if the Spurs are smart they will attack DeRozan consistently and drive to the rim since Sabonis is not a shotblocker. Of course neither our team nor our coaching staff are smart.

Derozen will give Castle a lesson. Worried about that matchup. Maybe Barnes takes that matchup.

I always liked Sabonis. Essentially he is Pau Gasol and just needed to be traded to the right team to get the recognition.
