(Obama actually had me for a second back in 2008: when he said he was going to nail the telecoms to the wall for spying on us illegally.

Obama lost me when he voted to immunize the telecoms shortly before the election. That's when I realized Obama would turn out to be a center-right, Tory-ish figure -- a caretaker of the status quo, the powers that be. Not a change candidate as he put himself forward to be.)
