You know who typically aren't smart players who play smart basketball? Rookies that you draft.

Spurs need talent but they need veteran talent. This team would be better served getting good veteran players than getting a top 3 pick in the 2025 draft and then having to wait to until 2027 and 2028 to find out if that player is really even that good or not.

Luckily, they have plenty of assets to get a superstar vet (preferably a wing). They just have to wait for the right opportunity.

I had to turn this one off in the 4th quarter as I was trying to watch it just now. Why did Victor and Devin sit? I would have liked to have seen Stephon be more aggressive with his offense and look to score.

I'm not so sure we actually do. Now that there is so much parity in the league almost all time are trying to compete, and the ones that aren't are already bad and have draft picks.

Wemby banged knees with Davis against the Lakers. He finished that game but looked off and apparently was limping in the locker room...so best to sit.

Vassell was a DNP for "injury management"...take from that what you will

Compe ors always want to play if they love the game. I've played on sprained ankles for rec leagues just because I wanted to be out there, and my games didn't mean .

Sometimes the coaches have to protect the players from themselves, but it's a good sign Wemby is fighting to get out on the court unlike some other divas in the NBA
