In 2003-4 I was considered very unpatriotic "objectively terrorist" for pointing out fellow Americans were dying, and ABC was eventually forced to cease it's roll-call sign off listing the names of the war dead. I do not think my esteem rose here, in this subforum, for posting on it in the meantime.
I expect this time around the spasm of aggrieved imperial dignity will be worse than back then. Much worse, probably.
