I guess their logic was that we won't have cap issues the next summer.
Wesley is obviously a rare point of attack defender point guard archetype...except that he's got barely any actual point guard skills. His archetype is more sought after than Branham's, but I don't think Wesley will ever put it together.
Branham won't ever be anything more than a bench chucker, but I guess theyr'e hoping he could actually become good at it. Not looking good so far.
wesley's jumper has less touch than westbrook. every shot just feels like a complete prayer coming from him. you never see him get a shot off and think "ah, that looks like a clean release, should go in"

Even a simple layup seems strangely difficult for Wesley. Westbrick can't shoot for , but at least he can make a layup.

Pretty positive feelings after this game. Paul, Barnes and Castle are all big roster improvements. Getting 3 improvements in one off season is a coup. Paul knowing when the team needs his energy is priceless. Hopefully some more of the rotation will be available for Saturday’s game.

Have to (reluctantly) give Zollins some props, he played pretty well yesterday. Bassey obviously better but solid contributions from our backup Cs while Victor is out

Inevitable, huh. We have a cool win and some good things to talk about. People just rush in to post this instead. Third comment, too. Great job.

not to steal too much from Awful Coaching guy, but one thing i've noticed about Zollins defensively is that he's played a lot less drop coverage in the pick and roll game and has been hedging aggressively instead. the results have generally been pretty good

smart of the staff to have different defensive schemes depending on the personnel, something we never saw last year tbh

seems obvious on its face, but it also involves the rest of the team having the awareness of which big is on the floor because a lot of their defensive rules change on the fly when a subs ution is made, and everybody has to be kept aware of evolving assignments (this is not keldon's strong suit)

I hope Wemby is back for the Dubs game. That's winnable with him in the lineup tbh.

The absolute worst. People can't be satisfied with a win.

It’s a grades threads and those two turned up as the F students yet again so the discussion was actually on point. I think we are all disappointed to see them being our 13th and 14th best players but thankfully that is all they are at this stage. Good to know the decision to pick up their options actually isn’t likely to affect cap space or roster spots if needed.
