Castle and Wemby are clearly in their own league in terms of what they bring, but Barnes brings something that has been missing with these young Spurs teams.

Yeah in hindsight I would have easily taken the Lauri trade if we gave away Vassell. Castle is already so much better than him.

I think that's unfair to Devin, feels like this roster suits him much better than last year's, but his injuries are concerning.

Btw, what did I say this summer? Barnes can be Finley 2.0.

Yeah, I mentioned this in the 5-man lineups thread, but this game definitely solidified it… don’t want to see Castle going back to the bench in favor of Vassell anytime soon.

FWIW, I’m fine with him being around cause he still had a good connection on the floor with Vic. I’m starting to think with his injuries issues though that he should come off the bench. No way he should be starting over Castle.

Castle will be SGA good I think. As early as 20 games he’s already shown so much taking most of the starting position. No way this kid sits when the whole team is healthy. CP3, Vassell, Castle, Sochan, Wemby is the SL for sure, unless Dejounte thinks Castle cannot play combo/SF
