Pop's been a coach for a long time. He's ed up far better teams.
Seems like it’s Wemby and Castles team already. Be pretty disappointing if Castle got pushed back to a rotation spot when Vassell heals.
I hope that CP3 stays for one more year, and then mentor all incoming playmakers

Vassell is perennially injury prone
I wanted Barnes before the last season ended, didn't expect CP3 would've had interest in joining.
I think Julian moves to Malaki’s rotation spot, and Vassell starts in his spot.
Vassell looked like an old fat grandma on the sidelines in whatever he was wearing. it's gonna take a while before (if) he's ever 100%

Castle is the real deal. His shooting obviously needs work but it's way better than advertised. He and Wemby are going places

He’s made it impossible for them to do that now tbh. It was be dumb for the team to move him back. I think Dev supplants Champ (who has also played well), until such time that CP is no longer in the team.

Some is going to change when guys come back. Julian was really only place holding for Devin at the beginning of the year, and would be a dramatic improvement over Malaki as the bench wing. We keep dropping into holes in the early and mid part of games. Wouldn’t it be nice not to?

I love how Castle can go from aggressively attacking the rim with a head full of steam to all of a sudden finishing at Kyle Anderson speed. really throws defenders off.
Maybe it's recency bias on my part, but I love the improvement Julian has made this year. He was a firinge NBA player with a streaky shot last year. He's making the right cuts, his motion is excellent and his defense has improved immeasurably. I'm far less frustrated with him than I have ever been with Vassell.
It actually when they they started going inside. Of course Vic and Castle 3’s were both daggers.
I didn’t like it earlier when they kept looking for 3’s. Somebody said, it’s what the defenders were giving them. Not true. I feel there wasn’t enough cutting in the 2st half and settling for 3’s. Still the defending champions shoot a ton of 3’s. Just ugly though but it’s modern NBA.
The problem is when Sochan comes back and who do you bench if you want to keep starting Vassell?
Barnes has done great to remain a starter.
Wemby saying the 1st 3 quarters they send a lot of arsenals of weapons but going back to basics in the 4th quarter, being more physical. It’s what other teams also do. That explains the barrage of 3’s I guess.
