Our guys did ok in spurts, but they were out hustled, out physicaled, out shot, and out played in every regard. Even their dorky white dudes were jumping over them. I’m sure our guys were tired, but maybe this is a reminder that the roster still needs work.
Lakers basically ran the same play over and over in the 2nd half and got every look they wanted.
I honestly dont know why Vic plays his man so tightly on defense, absolutely takes our defense down several pegs when he's forced away from the cup.

I’m more inclined to blame refs for close games. Throw a few calls out and our guys still lose this. The problem’s deeper than a little favoritism. Plus I didn’t think the calls were that bad tonight, Lakers just played better

I personally hated them.
Not because they said anything wrong, but because it just pissed me off whenever they would shout into the microphone when the Lakers score or do something dramatic, which of course I dislike as a fan of the team playing against them.
I didn't really care for them... sounded like a pair of old rednecks. I just found them generally unbiased, which impressed me.

that game suckedisucked ... the Lakers for pooping on our win streak ... now we probably have a three game losing strek next.
Imjo this One loss Is more than half determined by Wemby being not able tò play station a decente energy level...we play too many offensive plays with him as a starting or focus point and our defense Is completely anchored on his protection when he Is on the court...I know what im writing Is obvious but the lack of energy by his side spreads tò the whole team...sometimes could be a good idea tò let him rest (expecially on back to back games when the second game Is at home). However a good part of our loss could have been determined by Vassell coming back game...usually the first game After a come back Is used tò let said player tò be comfortably back in the game and most attentions are in that direction (at the expense of winning said game)...
Obviously Wemby and Castle could've done better, but we can't expect 20 year olds to dominate every game. Their statlines were decent, it's not like they were non-factors.
Bench on the other hand...
Keldon 1-5 in 22.5 minutes, disgustingly bad defense.
Collins 2-2 in 11.5 minutes, disgustingly bad defense.
Tre 1-3 in 11 minutes.
Wesley 0-3 in 6.5 minutes.
53.5 minutes between 4 of them and a grand total of 4-13 FG, 2-2 FT, 0-3 3PT, 10 total points in 53.5 minutes combined.
Yes, they show flashes of being solid against bad teams, but as soon as we're up against anyone decent, they go back to being trash.
Devin who was out of rythm and had a bad start was the only production we got off the bench.
Before the game we talked about it being a B2B for our team and how we need to run at them, but our bench offered absolutely nothing.
Noone on the entire roster can reliable penetrate the paint except for our 20 year old rookie.
Keldon does it, but a lot of the time it's better if he doesn't.
