COVID was the #3 cause of death in the USA in 2023, behind cancer and heart disease, and the chronic dimension of the disease continues to disable a lot of people.

COVID related research is very active, and any resulting vaccines and treatments will be alleviate a lot of sickness and suffering worldwide.
