Trump at the Lobbyist Trough - The American Prospect
But the most coherent common thread among Trump’s team of advisers and officials is that they’re a bunch of lobbyists, helping corporations collect fat subsidies or avoid regulations. There are certainly rich people in Trump’s orbit better known for paying the lobbyists than being them, like Treasury Secretary nominee and Soros-linked hedge fund manager Scott Bessent and, you know, the guy who runs Tesla. But rather than those who sign the checks to push right-wing policy, the advisers are more often the ones who receive them. As in Trump’s first term, this election has led to a mass scrambleon K Street to find “talent” with MAGA influence. One of the reasons is that the incoming executive branch is poaching the lobbyists with the most connections.

Looks like Zuck went to Mar-A-Lago to kiss the ring... too late?

It's never too late for ass kissing with Trump. The more you humiliate yourself to please the new emperor, the more the emperor will like you. Being spineless is a desired quality. See: everyone from future vice president downwards.
Poor Homer, got whooped again by the Trump.
"Oh, he's going to jail."
"Oh, he's going to the graveyard with half-a-head like JFK."
'Oh, Melania is going to divorce him."
'Oh, he's incontinent."
"Oh, he pisses himself."
"Oh, he got beat by a Black woman."
"Oh, the Magic Negro got the better of him."
"Oh."
Most will double back by the end of February and conspire to go back to killing him again.
also famous for paying 6.2 million bucks for a banana, then eating it
A Chinese national, charged with fraud by the SEC, just sent Donald Trump $18 millionAny foreign national paying an incoming president $18 million weeks before entering the White House should raise red flags. Sun's purchase is even more alarming because the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently prosecuting him for fraud.
Well, this is the idiot that thought he could buy Greenland, so you should never assume that was in jest, tbh...
Where you been Ef-man? Is your internet down at the tree of woe?![]()
sounds like the system is still working
The system is working...as in the bull cases brought against Trump are falling apart and the corrupt prosecutors who brought them are being exposed...that type of system working?
Well, they did win on a legal technicality. Here's the actual order and what really happened: https://www.do entcloud.org/do e...illis-default/
Coups good now.
I would suppose courts sort out disputes like this all the time, I'm not a lawyer
(like a putative misunderstanding about whether a thing was pending, or had already been properly served)
We'll see if this is even worth an appeal. If, as stated, they don't have any records to disclose, then there's not much else to do other than lawyers collecting their paychecks.
lol she can barely contain the vomit rising in her throat.
Keep trying tho snacks!
They all kissed the ring, even Lil Hitler who got a pat on the shoulder like a little kid
Trump wants to get rid of the CFPB
Protecting rich crooks from punishment is a great racket.
More than 4 million people to share $1.8 billion in refunds, the CFPB says. Here's what to know. - CBS NewsMore than 4 million Americans gouged by credit repair companies including Lexington Law and CreditRepair.com will soon collectively receive $1.8 billion in refund checks, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced Thursday.
The payments make up the biggest distribution yet from the CFPB's victims relief fund, financed by civil penalties paid by companies that violate consumer protection laws, the agency said.
Checks will be mailed in coming weeks to 4.3 million consumers who were charged illegal advance fees or subjected to allegedly deceptive bait-and-switch advertising by Lexington Law, CreditRepair.com and their parent companies, according to the federal agency.
