    Latest Shams report:

-Jimmy and the Heat are ready to part ways, he wouldn't mind going to Mavs, Rockets or Warriors.

    -Contenders are interested in Kuzma.

-Nets are receiving offers for Cam Jonhson, DFS and Schroeder.

-Ingram won't extend with the Pelicans.

-Blazers receiving offers for Gran, Simons and Timelord.

-Pacers are trying to find a backup big after both Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson suffered achilles tears.
Getting one of Cam Johnson or DFS would be a great help for the Spurs. If they can interest Sean Marks with one of the Minny/ Kings picks/swaps plus change (Branham/ Sidy/ etc).

Pacers might be interested in Zollins but they have nothing useful that they are willing to trade, who will be useful for the Spurs. They will get better value from Timelord, who I bet will be a consideration for them.

Ingram is intriguing as a half-a-season rental. But he seems damaged goods this season and I think the Spurs will avoid him.

If not for Cam/DFS, I think the Spurs should try trading Zollins away and get someone like Timelord who will be a great backup to Wemby. Except for his injury proneness, he offers versatile defence and a rim-running/ blocking option. Tough to get Zollins out of the way. Hard to find a sucker in this market who will jump at Zollins.

Timelord can’t play back to backs. I think that’s a more or less permanent situation at this point. Tough to have your primary back unable to play that many games. He’s also just a china doll in general.

Id like Cam or DFS (depending on price) if I dealt with Indy I'd want walker out of the deal.

Wonder if the Spurs could get Cam for the Chicago pick, the Charlotte seconds, and Keldon.

Quite a few would be needed because Indiana would much rather go for JV.

Not to change the subject but year 22 LeBron is a fascinating player. His counting stats still suggest a top 15 player averaging 24/7/7 with 49/36/74 shooting splits yet his advanced stats tell a different story.

WS/Per 48 down to 0.94. His career average is 222 and was 159 over the three previous seasons.

His net rating is negative for the first time since his rookie year. Lakers score 112 per one hundred possession with LeBron on the floor while giving up 117 on defense.

His on/off numbers are negative on both sides of the ball, -4.4 on offense and -8.8 on defense equaling -12.8 with Lebron on the floor. LeBron's combined on/off numbers from last season were +9.9. That's over a 20 point swing in one season.

He needs to retire after this season. The wheels are starting to fall off.

Vencenie did a pretty deep dive on this on the last Podcast where they discussed potential trades and the conclusion they came to is that the Lakers should trade Lebron (there are obviously complications with that). Worth a listen.

Man, I'd be soooo ing down for this trade it's not even funny.

Valanciunas and Steven Adams are two bigs I've always wanted to see on the Spurs. I'm not sure how much mileage Valanciunas has left at 32 and at this point of his career, but anything from him would be an upgrade over Karate Kid's walking corpse.

I'd give up anywhere from 2 to 5 SRP to make this happen. Gimme the house-bricks backup that Wemby deserves.

I’d take a flyer on Timelord for sure. Obviously would not send any valuable assets Portland’s way, but I don’t think he really has much value right now anyway

One guy I'll be watching this summer is Zion. Perfect buy low candidate who needs a change of scenery. Zion at PF with Wemby at C would be the most athletic twin tower combo the game's ever seen.

Zion's would only be 25 next season and he seems really young and dumb but not a bad guy per say. He needs to grow up and it feels like that will never happen with Pelicans. After this season he has three years left on his deal while getting paid about 40M per year. Cap wise the Spurs can carry him no problem for the next three years. Once they have to pay Wemby and Castle things might get tricky but they can cross that road when they get there.

He's risky for sure and that should be factored into the price but god would it be tempting. Not sure what I would offer. One of Dev or Keldon would probably have to go along with one of Zollins or Barnes expiring's next summer.

no. That guy don't GAF and even in a healthy year last year was nowhere near the same explosive player he was early in his career. Don't care if he has LeBron level talent when he has a Deandre Ayton or Shawn Kemp work ethic and especially when he doesn't have that upside he had a few years ago when he was the best athlete in the league by a mile.

But that's what makes him a great buy low player. You could get a Luka/Giannis level talent for the Lauri/Trae Young price.

He's such a cancer I'd only trade for him at a Zach Collins and Keldon Johnson price, and that's only to salary dump him since the Pelicans have a team option on him this summer.

Could he handle the carb-rich tacos, flautas, chimichangas, Gorditas, funnel cakes and flan that are integral parts of SA culture? I'm sure he cannot say no to a puffy taco, but, who can?

The Heat trading away Jimmy doesn't bode well for the Hawks pick or the Chicago pick tbh.

They never tank, I assume they would either get useful pieces or use those assets to improve the roster.
If it's the Warriors they're dealing with, Wiggins. I know they can't aggregate salaries, but they'd make it work with other teams involved.
