Mitch deservedA for gluing Zollins and Branhams asses to the bench.
Pop would have played these 2 at least 25 mins

I can’t remember a more “modern NBA” moment than our 5 on offense (Jeremy) also guarding the opponents 6’1” point guard - and guarding him well for that matter.PS Jacob stop calling him the green monster. Is the grinch trademarked or something.
Shaq said Vic needs to get closer to the rim if his 3 isn’t falling. Love that show to death but I think those guys are a few games behind. Vic has been doing that, and doing it well. Loved seeing him battle at top of the key, which for him is still only two steps from the basket lol. Can’t wait for him to get stronger, where he can consistently establish position at Timmys spots. Watch out.
Another game we don’t win without CP3. It’s bittersweet. With Tre’s play lately, do we draft another PG this year for the future, to play with Stephon?
Devin looked comfortable in the starting lineup and hit some major clutch shots. In terms of complimenting Wemby long term, that’s the Devin we need to go deep into the playoffs.
Potentially that is Spurs best starters and rotation. And Castle would probably lose that no. 1 ROTY spot fast playing reserve. I’m not sure if winning is the goal this season at ultimate cost. CP3 seems to be influencing the decision here with his drive to win in his final season(s). Just the same, I wish Castle to shake things off fast, both his shooting and especially his POA defense. I would’ve like him to have slowed down Trae and convince that he’s the best POA defender in the team.
While I like Champ at SL, Devin proved he is the team’s 2nd option and should be back in the starting lineup. Easily one of his more efficient game. Sochan was great but could’ve played better defense especially on the POA. CP3 was great.
It’s a great win on a must win against the Hawks. But moving forward, I really like Castle at the starting line-up. And it would take some gutsy call from Mitch.
I feel like this was/is going to be another season of "let's see how they start, and go from there"
Last season quickly turned into "yeah, it's time to tank again"
This season...I don't know. 14-13, only 1.5 games back from the 5th seed.
Yes, there are a LOT of teams in the same mix...but I could see them continuing to ride this momentum and see where this team goes. Making the playoffs would be a huge step for this group, and at a certain point, you have to start teaching winning habits instead of chasing draft picks.
I like Sochan getting some of the backup C minutes a la Aaron Gordon tbh.
Good way to shorten the rotation, maybe sprinkle in some Bassey minutes here and there.
It's so nice to not get blown out by the second quarter this year.
I'm super impressed with the development of Julian. He didn't look like an NBA player last year but he has really developed his game. He's smarter on both ends of the floor, cuts well, and has added penetration moves and midrange shots to his game. I'm excited to see how he develops.
Fast becoming Danny Green 3&D. The Spurs has done it again with their reclamation project. Next up Bassey!
Yeah it's easy to forget what a dumpster fire LDN was when he was young, contrasted with what a great teammate he became.
