    JFC he is bad statistically and even worse on advanced stats. I know he's young but ouch. Still think he'll carve out a decent career just on his size and athleticism but guessing Lou Williams is probably his ceiling now when was projected to be more Derrick Rose or Westbrook. I remember watching those two games against Victor and drooling at the thought of getting him #2 had they not won the lottery. Bet the board would have flipped out to if the Spurs had the #2 pick and took Amen Thompson over Scoot, but that dude is ing legit.
    Amen over Miller?

    Spurs wouldn't have drafted Miller. With his judiciary issues & lack of defense

    Wasn't that leaked that the Spurs loved Amen? I remember his agent being sad the Spurs got the #1 pick because he wanted Amen in San Antonio at #2. In a redraft I'm definitely taking Amen over Miller as much as I like Miller. Amen is already a monster and is still just scratching the surface of his potential.

    If he can ever develop a half respectable three point shot I think we'd be looking at an MVP candidate in a few years.

    Gotta start to think play-in is very realistic goal for this team if you are PATFO, and maybe act accordingly at the trade deadline.

    One Spurs beat reporter, I think Tynan, recently said that he has it on good inside authority that the Spurs would have taken Miller, but Amen was 3rd on their board. Might not have been Tynan, but one of the Spurs reporters definitely tweeted it (for whatever that is worth)

    From ESPN: "Wembanyama has had a block in 62 straight games, surpassing the franchise record of 61 set by Hall of Fame center David Robinson."

    That was some ugly-ass basketball from both teams in the 3rd quarter. Solid game from the Spurs overall, though.

    Spurs have played 18 games at home and only 10 games on the road. 9 of their next 11 games will be on the road.

    I will wait for these road games before saying Spurs are really fighting for the play-ins. Spurs' schedule is getting tougher;

    Agree, somewhere I read we’ve had one of the easiest schedules so far, which passes the eye test (feel like there has been a healthy helping of SACs and PORs already). Thankfully this road stretch includes a lot of East teams, so hopefully that helps some.

    Hopefully most games left against the east will help
