Ur mad because I want him to make smarter plays? Y'all are the type to never criticize players
If you're being genuine, sure, you can say that, but the Spurs have no chance whatsoever without Victor. This team is full of subpar players. What more do you expect a 20 year old Superstar to do who is still learning? He played very well as far as I'm concerned. Yeah he made mistakes and some bad decisions, but Spurs have no chance without his game. A lot of his teammates aren't worth a .

we all want him to play better but he is in second year and he is the best scorer, best rebounder, best blocker, second in steal and assists. His game tonight 42 points (on 52% FG), 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks and 1 steal; the loss is not on him

Lakers are always the ones targeting the top players in the league off other teams. That's how they win championships.

It is downright ludicrous. Sometimes we take for granted what he is doing and just forget that he is only 20 ing years old.
I have seen enough and I am fully behind the Wemby-GOAT hype, if he stays healthy.
    Tonight just validates that.
He is 20 years old and players are just literally adjusting to his presence - on both ends!
Yep, it's freaking wild. He's getting better and better, and man, when I remember he's only 20 and being mentioned along with some greats already, that's crazy. Like tonight's game, seeing him mentioned about beating Wilt's Christmas debut, he pretty much tied it if that foul wasn't called . I really wanted him to get it.

Yeah teams will start to notice. God if he was the hold out for a Lauri trade, looking back now I would have 100% pulled the trigger.
    Ainge probably wanted our 20131

Barnes was trash, yet again! Seems like he allowed that player of the week go to his head, SMH...

Maybe not the place to ask, but what's the deal with the 20131 I keep seeing written instead of 2031? Is it some sort of running joke around here?

To me, the (non) call that really swung things was when Brunson pushed Tre in the back on a fast break layup, causing him to fall down. Not only does Tre not get the and 1 he deserved, he fell down and the Knicks got a 5 on 4 break that turned into a Bridges three.
Great call out. This was just as crucial as the called off Wemby 3.

Huge miss by the refs on a pretty blatant foul by Brunson.

Spurs are 10-7 when Castle plays 30+ minutes, 2-6 when he plays 20 or fewer.

I think some poster mistyped it once and said the “20131 pick” and people have been memeing it since.

Pretty much since it's so far into the future that pick is a seventh grader. I blame scott, I think he made that up.

Big Brain Mitch Johnson coaching a win into a loss, like he's been groomed to.

A couple possessions the other way and it's a win. If Bridges doesn't have the game of his life, it's a blowout.

    • Not mad at this loss. It was a great game and just further cemented that Wemby is a top 10 player in the league RIGHT NOW and he's only scratching the surface of his potential. GET THIS MAN SOME HELP.
    • While the rest of the team is yucking it up with the Knicks after the game, Wemby is ignoring little kids on his way to the locker room because he is PISSED OFF and TIRED OF LOSING. Love that from our star. This ain't a ing rec league, Wemby is here to snatch souls, not make friends.
    • LOL Devin Vassell. What a ing loser. The Devin Truther Club has been right about him all along. @spurraider21 KobesAchilles KingKev - no one can ever tell us about this clown ever again
    • Devin + Keldon + Barnes + Collins = $83,089,026 this season. 59.1% of the salary cap. LOL. The good news is, imagine all the productive salary we can match with that.
    • Is Castle taking finishing lessons from Blake Wesley? Holy , he was getting his pushed at the rim.
    • Liked what I saw from Jeremy today. Champ did his role well. Really nice outing from Tre. CP3 doing CP3 things. All positives.
    • In a season where we are making a play-in push but it's still largely a learning season... this is a good loss. Wemby will learn from this and hold a grudge for the rest of his career. I like that like this fuels this man.
    • Jesus Christ Mikal Bridges. Wow. Can only tip the cap. But also, LOL Devin Vassell's defense.

Let's go across the river and beat the out of Brooklyn on Friday.

Jeremy went 3-3 from 3pt, all 3 made in key moments.
Bridges scoring 40 is more likely than Jeremy hitting every shot, tbh.

Part of me wants to blame Mitch, but the realist in me knows this roster is simply dog and devoid of NBA-level difference makers. Having to rely on scrubs like Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and Harrison Barnes to win games on the road in tough environments is a tall task for anyone, especially when those guys all terrible defensively.

Having to ask 40 year-old Chris Paul to be our 2nd best player every night

I think it was actually exstatic who had that typo in a post, or maybe it was even in timvp's draft day article? Either way, it's definitely the thing for now on.

Mitch's decision to go with Tre instead of Caste was ok. Tre played nice. I didnt like Vassell and Barnes playing minutes while not being productive. They were liabilities on today's game

The contracts to Dev, Keldon and Zach were so shortsighted by PATFO. Giving out long term contracts to guys that did well on bad teams is always a big no-no and now the spurs are paying for it.
