Even champ is not a great shooter. He’s among the nba leaders in catch shoot three attempts, but he’s a much worse shooter than the other guys in the top 5. Imagine if Wemby had even one elite shooter playing alongside with him

The issue is that Champ and Devin are our only two legit off ball movement threats and teams don't have anyone else to worry about, making it way easier to shut him down. He's up to 38% on 7.6 attempts from 7th game onwards, he had a bad start.
Can't ask for more from a 6'8 wing with solid defense. That's as valuable as a 6'4 subpar defender shooting 43%, at least for me.

We need Devin to get his together and we need an elite shooter on top of that. Then we can talk about being a serious team.

I don't think you realize how much they don't care...

This generation grew up with Westbrook Harden etc They're cynical, want their bag and don't care that much about legacy or les.

Vassell is a perfect example, it took him +6months to finally try to play with Wemby (probabaly forced by Pop and oh surprise since it's the friendly Mitch at the helm, he's back to being selfish)
