It's both. Ewers threw some bad balls -- the one that got picked was really bad. He also missed some open guys. But the play calling was also questionable.

I'm starting to agree with this. Quinn looks so much more comfortable passing out of spread formations, yet sark is so stubborn and rarely runs it.

Ewers is a frustrating player to watch at times no doubt, but he's way down the list of issues for me.

Yea i've been super critical of Quinn throughout the year but he was not the issue tonight. He actually played a great game, drove his team down the field twice before regulation. Then he became possessed in overtime and took off. The one major issue that has plagued this team has been Sark getting way too ing cute during big leads. It almost finally caught up to him today but Quinn, Golden, and defense bailed him out. Defense played 97 ing snaps total, that's why too much no matter how great they are. O-Line also needs to stop making stupid false starts too.

Great thing is all of this is easy to fix, but you can't do the same against OSU or Oregon because they will take advantage of that and get out of hand quickly. For personally, all I wanted was for Texas to get back to final four teams, anything else for me is cherry on top, do I want them to win it all.. yea, but dealing what most of us had to deal with from 2010-2021 with Texas this has been a breath of fresh air.

Your defense can't play basically an entire quarter in any game, let alone the playoffs.
