Vic was horrible tonight. B2b I guess but he was trash.
We need a second star, Vassel is clearly not that one, a backup big who can defend big centers and a SF who can shoot the three.
I think Fox and Cameron Johnson
Vic was horrible tonight. B2b I guess but he was trash.
Seriously go get Fox. Spurs would have 5 or more extra wins if Wemby had a reliable #2
castle 10 pts in 16 mins cant see the floor in OT
They need to stop the back to backs
only in the 2nd half.
Well suns and wolves still lost today so we’re still in it. Jokic is too good to lose to us twice so in hindsight this loss was expected but still annoying that they couldn’t get it done.
Wemby can be embarrassingly soft at times
he's sucks there's a reason he got benched in OT nothing to see here
CP3 has that locker room chemistry generator though. As long as he teaches this team, I am not too worried about his shooting.
Dude is like 7'5 on the 2nd night of a back to back having played in Denver not even 24 hours ago. Pop probably would have sat him.
Spurs ran out of gas…
please trade vassell for some of that HEB y queso…
Denver is high
Also Denver tough te
Vic was not bad not super tonight
Mitch had a nice run, but he's not ready to coach a team that's trying to win.
It's 2025 and Keldon's 6th man status is still untouchable, he even brings the ing ball over.
Can we unretire Dieng and play him ahead of Collins? Just ing disgusting.
at the end it always comes down to the fact that we don't have a second reliable scorer when Wemby starts shooting poorly
I'm saying too
It's on Mitch, relying on CP3 too much. 2 nd game of B2B, with CP3 short on his jumpshots, he need not play that much
I only caught the end of this game so I'll catch up later.
But I will say this...
ZACH COLLINS AND HIS 10 MINUTES
This dude is not an NBA player, and I am seriously questioning Mitch being an NBA coach because he keeps playing him
The Spurs were 10-5 without him.
They’re 8-12 with him.
I would trade him for Fox right now; tbh.
Not a coincidence we struggle to score and offense looks sloppy as when Sochan is on the floor
It’s not often that you lose in OT by double digits, but by golly we found a way to make it happen
Send vassell to the fcking bench. If he hits half his open shots we win this game. And we need a better second center.Collins and
bassey aint it.
Please detail those reasons and differentiate from other Spurs on the court during overtime. Look forward to your insight.
Vassell can pull some cool stuff once in awhile and have a great game every 5 or so, but he’s not second star material. Excellent role player is about his limit.
Jeremy can be a useful bench player, but shouldn't be untouchable in trade talks, not even close.
The issue is that Mitch plays him like an undisputed starter.
I'm the first one to say Jeremy has to play against star wings because everyone else will get destroyed, but in this matchup there was absolutely no need for him, he just enabled Jokic to rest on defense.
11 pt lead to start the 4th and we lost the game in OT. We couldn't make a shot inside or out. We had horrible turnovers. Our rebounding sucked. We missed more free throws. Jokic once again was allowed to do whatever he wanted with plenty of help from the zebras. The Nuggets couldn't buy a 3 in the first half, but couldn't miss in the 2nd.
I am so sick of the Spurs acting like a WNBA team in the paint. Is there another NBA team that misses more shots with 3 ft of the basket than the Spurs. As a team, they seem to miss 10+ close range shots a game. Not only do they miss, but they rarely get the offensive rebounding.
